Andrew Schenker is an essayist and critic living in upstate New York. His writing has appeared in numerous print and online publications including The Baffler, Esquire, The Metropolitan Review, The Village Voice, Art– and Bookforum, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and many others. He holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Bennington College.
